QUALIFICATIONS
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Degree in education (early childhood, elementary, secondary), English, TESOL, literature, linguistics, arts
- Certified teachers are preferred, but others are also invited to apply
- Graduate students are welcome to apply as well
- Enthusiastic attitude and good communication skills
- Prepared for cultural differences
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Resume or CV
- Passport that is valid for at least 18 months
- Passport must have two adjacent blank pages for visa and immigration stamps
- Copy of the personal page of your passport
- Copy of your university or college diploma and/or teaching certificate (transcript is not sufficient)
- Authenticated diploma copy (must be authenticated by your university, the state where you earned your degree, and the Chinese consulate for your area)
- Authenticated TESL/TESOL certificate (Candidates without at least two years’ teaching experience or state certification must complete a 120-hour online TESOL certification course.)
- State-level criminal records check with original seal or signature
- Completed medical exam form (will send form to candidate)
- At least two letters of recommendation on institutional letterhead with original signatures
- Recent headshot photo of you
